New Poll Finds Clinton's Support Among Independents in Trouble

A new poll reported by the Boston Globe finds that Bernie Sanders holds a commanding lead over Hillary Clinton among Independent voters. A sample of 500 likely voters in the upcoming NH primary were asked who they would support if the primary were held today.

Of 177 self identified "Independents/Undecided" voters 42% selected Sen. Bernie Sanders as their first choice while only 24% would pick Clinton.

The significance of Independent voters has continued to be a hot topic on nightly news with many political pundits agreeing that Independent and Undecided voters will likely play a crucial role in the upcoming election.

Considering that 35% of all voters polled identified as independent/undecided Mrs. Clinton may very well have her work cut out for her if she expects to secure the nomination.
